Who we are
I’m Amy, a blogger in NJ! My husband is a nerd who studied computer privacy in college (or something like that…), and so I’m passionate about privacy too! My husband helps keep this site safe and secure, so that you and your information are protected.
I am not a healthcare professional. Any advice given on this blog pertaining to your health, your child’s health, mental health, happiness, or welfare should be double-checked by a professional before you make any life-changing decisions.
I may participate in affiliate programs or be sponsored for my posts. All affiliate links and sponsored posts will be disclosed in the beginning of the blog posts. Though I may receive a small commission for products that you buy, this will be at no extra cost to you. All opinions are my own.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
If you send me an email through my contact form, I will not spam you or give your info away. That’s just wrong!
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Ads are what allow the web to be free! I may choose to place ads on my site, which funds me to put free content on my blog. We will not collect any information about you, but the ad service we use may have information about you that they use to supply targeted ads.
